Are you attending SBL? Are you a student? Are you a woman?
If you answered “yes” to all 3 questions, come to the SBL Women Student Members Networking Session (S23-134)!
It will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Convention Center in room 317.
The session is hosted by the SBL Committee on the Status of Women in the Profession. Shively Smith of Emory University is presiding.
“Student women members of all levels are invited to participate in an hour of networking. Come and meet other women students of SBL and share your experiences, questions, and advice. This year students will have the opportunity to sit with junior and senior women scholars in the field and discuss their pedagogical philosophies, approaches, and strategies for creating a syllabus. The lunch provided is sponsored by the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion.”
I will be one of the session facilitators! See you there!
