Valentine's Day: Academic Sister Love

image

For Valentine’s Day I’m showing some virtual love to Black women of SBL! Inspired by Liz Gloyn’s post on classicist women, I have created a Twitter list of African women and women of the African Diaspora who are in biblical studies and related fields. These women and their work have been important to me personally and to my scholarship and teaching. They are diverse in terms of institutional affiliation, career stage, sub-field, methodological approach, and tweet frequency, but they are all fabulous scholars you should know! Subscribe to the list and follow them on Twitter!

Please note that I do not wish to misidentify anyone. If I have overlooked you and you would like to be added to the list please let me know. Also, let me know if you prefer not to appear on this list.
